Everyone believes the worlds greatest lie...

Everyone believes the world's greatest lie....

I love books. They are my escapism and utter removal from my circumstances and surroundings. I can look up from a book in shock remembering where I am and that there are people around. Sometimes I have to close a book because it's world has become all to real for me. To be able to curl up with a book is one of the most luxurious and romantic things I can do.

Now, of all the books I can (and will) recommend, if there was one book for which I think every seeker of 'more' should read, it is the age old classic, The Alchemist.

I swear every single page you turn of this book has something so profound, yet so simply put, woven in to this elementary story of a young boys journey. No other book has such a high ratio of stop-you-in-your-tracks lines, that I will re-read and ponder, sometimes for days. It's the ease in which these prophecy slips out of these pages that does it I think. I am sure it is possible to read right over them too and not even notice, but so often am I bowled over by a simple sentence, an observation or comment, that knocks a gasp outta me and stirs something on a deeper level.

Please treat yourself to this book. Again and again.

But today I give you two nuggets, that come early in the book...

Muse on that for a minute.... because here is the reality:

People are capable, at any time in their lives, of doing what they dream of.

At any given time people!

At any given time....
